Tried and tested, and still as good as ever, the 247+ 15 daysack from Berghaus is ideal for short walks or days out. It's big enough to keep your valuables and a little extra on day trips and comes with a 'flow' back-system and adjustable chest strap to help you keep comfortable on the go. There is a zipped entrance to the main compartment which contains a small zipped pocket and there is a bungee on the front of the bag allowing you to attach extra items like a jacket or bike helmet.
